Noel Crisostomo is a regulatory analyst at the California Public Utilities Commission. At CPUC he provides technology, economic, and policy analysis on the decarbonization of the State's electricity system and the deployment of zero-emissions transportation. Noel manages initiatives on the integration of vehicles as grid resources, charging infrastructure planning and deployment, sub-metering, rate design, technology research and development, and the Low Carbon Fuel Standard. Noel coordinates CPUC’s electric vehicle policies with State and Federal electrification efforts to enhance their public benefits, which has influenced stakeholder strategies at the intersection of the automotive and power sectors. He previously implemented and evaluated energy efficiency and distributed generation programs at the Alliance to Save Energy, San Diego Gas and Electric Company, and Rocky Mountain Institute and holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Energy and Earth Systems from Stanford University.
