What to Expect at ESNA Day 2: Wednesday, October 5

What an exciting, successful first day of the fourth annual Energy Storage North America. We hope you get a good night’s rest so you are ready for more energy storage education and networking. Tomorrow is the second day of the conference and expo -- here are some program details to look out for:

Day Two Highlights

Women in Energy Storage Breakfast: 8:00am – 9:00am

Celebrate the accomplishments of women in the energy storage industry over breakfast and a panel discussion in room 32A. A few more spots are available in the breakfast -- RSVP here.

Opening Keynotes: 9:00am – 10:30am

  • Learn how Walmart is leveraging energy storage to achieve its ambitious, 100% renewable energy goal.
  • Explore the impact and opportunities EVs have on the grid, in a panel featuring speakers from Mercedes, Honda, CPUC, SDG&E, and EVgo.

Expo Floor Open: 10:30am – 5:00pm

Expand your network – learn about the latest industry technologies, meet prospective customers and make deals.

Conference Programming: 11:15am – 5:30pm

We have three tracks with in-depth content focused on different audiences. Here are a few highlights to look out for:
  • Utility Track
    • Over 20 utility leaders will be on stage throughout the day discussing everything from integrating distributed energy resources on the grid to shaping win-win customer program to storage for transmission reliability.
  • C&I Track
    • Any large energy consumer, building owner or facility manager interested in storage won’t want to miss this track. Hear a wide range of case studies presented by C&I facility managers and building owners on storage as a new addition to the toolkit for a well-run facility.
  • Markets & Policies Track
    • This track will explore the key policies, programs and business models that will catapult the energy storage industry into its next phase of growth. Panels will cover case studies on value stacking and obligation staggering and for low-income communities among many other relevant, engaging topics. 

Utility Dessert Reception: 3:30pm – 4:15pm

Exclusive to utility employees: discuss challenges and opportunities of storage over coffee and dessert on the Center Terrace.

Dinner and Cocktail Reception: 5:00pm – 8:30pm

Wrap up the night with dinner and engage in conversation with energy storage industry leaders on the Center Terrace.

Awards Ceremony: 6:00pm – 7:00pm

ESNA Innovation and Champion Awards will be presented for excellence and impact in energy storage. Celebrate the achievements of these individuals and groups on the Center Terrace.
