Robert A. Thomas is a Principal Manager at Southern California Edison (SCE) with responsibility for the development of SCE’s rate designs, marginal costs determination and rate class level sales forecasts. Prior to his current position, his responsibilities have included providing customer specific rate and financial analyses involving self-generation, load growth, contract rates, demand response and hourly pricing options, dispute resolution, processing applications, program promotion. Robert also served as SCE’s lead representative on the Self Generation Incentive Program Working Group from 2001 through 2004. Prior to his roles in the regulatory environment, Robert held various engineering positions in the Power Supply and Customer Service Departments.
Robert holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona, an MBA from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and a Professional Engineering License in Mechanical Engineering.
