Marissa Paslick Gillett is the Vice President of External Relations for the Energy Storage Association (ESA). In this capacity, Marissa is responsible for providing the strategic vision and leadership regarding ESA’s overall brand, as well as providing leadership of the events, marketing, and communications teams. Previously, Marissa served as the Senior Advisor to the Chairman of the Maryland Public Service Commission, providing legal, policy, and technical support to the chairman and other commissioners. In her role at the Maryland Commission, Marissa advised on matters such as: the State’s participation in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative; the implementation of the Maryland Offshore Wind Energy Act; and the advancement of non-wires alternatives in energy sector planning. Marissa also chaired the Maryland Commission’s electric vehicle work group, initiated as part of the Maryland grid modernization proceeding.
Marissa holds a B.S. in Bioengineering from Clemson University, and a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
