DC Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE)
As an agency program lead, Emil is overseeing a number of solar, energy storage, and vehicle electrification policy and program development projects under DOEE’s Solar for All Innovation and Expansion Grant program. He is actively engaged in the development and construction of approximately 14 MW of new PV systems coming online this year that will benefit low-income households throughout the District of Columbia. Emil has over 20 years of experience implementing and promoting clean energy projects city-wide, and has advised a number of District mayors and agency heads on cleantech issues. He has a biology degree from Hampton University.
