Rebecca FeuerlichtRebecca Feuerlicht of the Center for Sustainable Energy (San Diego, Calif.) is the senior project manager of the $11 million Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) in the San Diego Gas and Electric utility service territory, a program critically important to the successful deployment of customer-sited energy storage applications in Southern California. Over the past 15 years, the center has awarded more than $100 million in incentives yielding 60 MW of clean energy.

Rebecca has extensive experience supporting and managing local and statewide education and incentive programs with a focus on environmental sustainability.

As a regional SGIP project manager, Rebecca collaborates with the California Public Utilities Commission and California’s investor-owned utilities to advise and implement program design fostering adoption of clean and efficient distributed energy projects and helping to solve related challenges related to the electric grid. She works with engineering staff, utility customers, project developers and manufacturers representing a broad range of distributed generation technologies including combined heat and power turbines and engines, stationary fuel cells, wind turbines and advanced energy storage.

Rebecca manages the SGIP customer incentive application processes, overseeing marketing, education and outreach efforts; coordinates with statewide program administrators and industry stakeholders to improve policies and reach program goals; and assists in measurement and evaluation activities.

Rebecca graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a bachelor of arts in economics and environmental studies and has a certificate in sustainable business practices from the University of California, San Diego Extension Program.
