Development Director - Energy Storage
Currently leading energy storage development, Matt has built a portfolio of over 2 GW energy storage at Savion in less than two years. He has over two decades of multidisciplinary experience including energy storage technical and market analysis, strategy, and procurement. Prior roles include directing EPC on some of the first utility-scale energy storage projects in the US (frequency regulation projects in PJM), directing the development of domestic and international energy storage and renewable energy projects, and advising some of the nation's top firms on energy policy and market strategy.
Matt received his Master of Public Policy from The University of Chicago with concentration in Environmental, Energy, and Economic Policy; and his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Matt is an active member of Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2) and is committed to promoting policies and technologies that are good for the environment and the economy.
